Guardianship
An individual or organization appointed by Probate Court to manage the personal care of a minor or incapacitated individual. Personal care includes placement, medical decision, etc.

Conservatorship
An individual or organization appointed by Probate Court to manage the personal finances and/or property of a minor or incapacitated individual.

Representative Payee
An individual or organization appointed by the Social Security Administration to manage the Social Security Retirement, Social Security Disability, or Social Security Supplemental Income benefits for an individual who is not able to manage their own benefits.

Trust Management Services
A trust is a legal and financial tool that allows for assets to be held and managed by a Trustee for the benefit of another person or persons, who are the beneficiaries of the trust. The Trustee is responsible to manage the assets prudently and to act in the best interest of trust beneficiary.

Financial power of attorney legally authorizes someone to act on an individual’s behalf in monetary matters, including bank account management, bill payment, budgeting, insurance management, receipt of income, tax issues and more.
