Money Management Limitations
Limitations: Understanding what we can and cannot do.
We can:
Assess the financial needs of a client
Work with the client to establish a shared and successful approach to addressing their needs
Direct our clients to community resources that will provide relief to financial concerns
Help facilitate phone calls to a variety of financial entities to solve problems
Help organize the client’s financial practices and records so that they can manage their own in the future
Help with delinquent property taxes by helping our client’s take advantage of community resources
Help a client balance their checkbook and establish a workable budget
We cannot:
Conduct business without our clients’ consent
Access the client’s financial information without their consent
Description of Program
The Money Management Partners provide one-on-one assistance with finances to help maintain an individual’s financial independence.
Money management specialists visit an individual’s home, review paperwork and bills, and look for signs of questionable spending, fees, and exploitation.
Specialists will also write checks, balance checkbook, determine a budget plan, and make advocacy calls to help reduce expenses.
